Arkona proudly announces, that sixth album, which is called "Slovo", is completely ready! According to band's opinion this album is the most extraordinary and the most diverse in all Arkona's history. The band first time worked with professional choir and orchestra, booklet is made by good known artist Kris Wervimp.Album will be released in the end of August on Napalm Records.

After 20-year long career, and 10 fabulous studio albums behind them, the best and most popular Serbian street hard punk rock band Ritam Nereda (Rhythm Of Disorder) finally arrives  again to Explosive stage, Exit fest 2011. Last year saw the band`s 10th release, Paralelni svet (Parallel World), which was shouted as the best studio effort so far by the critics. CD sales reached 1,500 copies, and album has been officially downloaded more than 25,000 times. Meanwhile, Facebook status came to over 125,000 likes. Ritam Nereda have always had high sales in Serbian terms, and their extensive discography, which includes numerous releases and re-releases for various independent and major labels, always attracting wide fan-base with their consistent songwriting. Many songs like Heroj (Hero), Ne (No), Put beznana (Road Of Hopelessness), Crno je sve (All Is Black), Sećanja (Remembrance), 10 godina (10 Years), Hiljade (Thousands)... became classics for generations. Well known for their energetic, fierce and uncompromising shows, which attract large number of fans, band often changed and improved sound, thus creating reckognizable style. Fact that Ritam Nereda became the synonym for a quality show can be confirmed by interest from Bill Gould (Faith No More) and Henry Rollins (Rollins Band, Black Flag), among others, who wanted to meet the band after their performances. Ritam Nereda have shared stage with likes of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Motörhead, Soulfly... Last year was marked by series of sold out shows in Serbia, as well as with performances at summer open air festivals in Serbia, Croatia, and Bosnia & Herzegovina. Successful 2010 was crowned with hometown concert where 7,000 people gathered! 2011 will see further touring with confirmed shows in Zagreb, Belgrade, and the big comeback concert to Slovenia is reserved for the most extreme and brutal festival in the region – Metal Camp! Their energy and instrumental precision is on a very high level, which makes their live acts a unique experience! After two albums released for Berlin label Superhero Records, Vendetta is coming to Exit with new material from their upcoming album. The band gathers allstar team of Bulgarian hardcore scene, who played with Face Up, BFDM and Brothers in Blood, building the foundation of Balkan hardcore scene. One of the vocals also takes part in Doomday project together with the members of Jaylan,  Prodigy  and Faith No More. Vendetta is most definitely a band that you cannot miss this year at Explosive Stage.

Has been active in the scene since late ‘80s and is a guru of a kind when it comes to dark, industrial and experimental. He specializes in extraordinary DJ sets aimed for extreme underground audiences, and is to give two of his unique performances in which he will take you through different styles. As he says himself,” "Expect a sizzling mixture of Dark Alternative, Punk-, Noise-, Death- and Gothic Rock,  with a touch of Industrial."

“Show Them What They Fear” is the title of the second and the latest release by this Ohrid fellows. Metalcore is their field and they are very skillful in it. Next to Vendetta from Sofija, definitely one of the most brutal and powerful metalcore bands from the Balkans. Two vocals, Dime and Klimo with their crew that perfectly follows them with music, will prove to you that you don’t have to be from America to sound powerful and tough. They are certainly one of the bands from the Balcans who deserve a high place in European and world scene. This is their first time at Explosive Stage, so get ready for metal core attack, Macedonian style.

ALL EXPLOSIVE BANDS „Extreme stage for extreme people“ has confirmed its full line-up for Exit 2011. During the four festival days, Explosive will play host to influential metal, hard core and punk bands, lead by headliners German Kreator, Russian pagan metal band Arkona, Australian metal core band Parkway Drive and British punks Anti Nowhere League and Discharge. These band are getting serious back-up in the form of numerous important bands from the world over. For the first time in the stage’s history, Explosive will also host no more no less than a DJ! Stage managers Milan Rakic and Aleksandar Todorovic confirm the wide choice of bands. „We have made up a line-up that includes all directions in underground music, from punk to hard core and metal, but also acts who blend all genres in an interesting way. Explosive Stage is most certainly one of the most highly-visited stages at the festival, and we like to think of all us here as one big family!“ Thursday at Explosive opens with Romanian black metal band Negura Bunget and Italian extreme metal band Mechanical God Creation. Joining them from Bulgaria are hardcore and metal band Last Hope and Vendetta, famous for being recognized by music magazines as the most influential bands of all genres in Southeast Europe. Father from Rijeka will present Croatian metal scene, and domestic hard core, punk and metal support comes in the form of All Except One, Downstroy and Shoplifters. Friday at Explosive will be more than exciting, because this night brings two headliners, Arkona and Parkway Drive. Stimulans come from Split, playing a blend of heavy metal sub-genres united in a powerful and direct heavy package. Hungary is once again proving to belong to head bangers by giving us Nevergreen, a band that, after almost twenty years existence in Hungary and all over Western Europe, reached a status of a cult. Austrian industrial dark veterans The On/Off Corporation are putting on an audio-visual show, presenting the old-school swag of this sound from the beginning of the ‘90s. Hard Faced from Macedonia are to show why they are one of the most brutal and most powerful metalcore bands from the Balkans, and also Reflections Of Internal Rain, followed by fresh power Dark Dawn and Darkshines. Saturday is the night reserved for the great in the world of punk, featuring British Discharge and Anti Nowhere League! To introduce you to their gigs, we are presenting melodic hard core punk band from Croatia, Debeli precjednik. From Serbia, already well-known to our audience, we are having All The Arms We Need as well as Bosnian Tanker. Tona and Conviction from Novi Sad and Path of Decay from Belgrade will present a blend of punk, metal and rock styles, enough to make Saturday at Explosive incredible. Finally, Sunday is welcoming the most prominent European thrash metal band, German Kreator. From France we have Onesta, whose version of New York hard core places them on the very top of this scene in Europe. Their lead singer Bogdan, who is originally from Serbia, promised the band will give a performance that is going to stay in the hearts and heads of the audience for a long long time. Czech Edain will give fans a dynamite combination of old thrash school interwoven with new, more progressive death metal influences. Bornholm are coming from Hungary, and are one of the most popular black metal bands in their country, whereas Aperion are our Slovenian guests, who are preparing a mind-blowing performance that will include, apart from guitars, drums and vocals, flutes, violins and cellos as well. Domestic representatives at Explosive for this night are Inquisitia, Impurita, Rapid Force and Kozeljnik. What is especially interesting when it comes to 2011 at Explosive stage is that this stage’s program will be opened and closed by one of the most popular DJ’s coming from Austria! All those who thought DJ’s are electronic music exclusive have something else coming. Negura Bunget started building their tradition in 1994, playing pure cold black metal. Looking for a place to belong in the scene, the band grew into the leading concert sensation of a pretty strong scene going on in Romania, and the rest of Europe followed. Inspired by the dark past of mystical Transilvania and its people, the band goes into deep exploration of spiritual background of music tradition and legacy, and with the help of a large number of ancient instruments, some of them dating centuries age, the band bring pure joy and a perfect ambient, transferring the audience into other dimensions of times past. British hardcore punk band Discharge was formed in 1977, and is considered one of the first bands to contribute the emergence of this sub genre, by uniting punk and metal in what was then considered a unique way. Since 1982, when their first and nowlegendary album “Hear Nothing, See Nothing, Say Nothing” was released and reached #2 in UK Indie Charts as well as #40 on UK Album Charts, they have been rendered one of the most influential bands when it comes to all sub genres like hardcore punk, thrash metal, crust punk, grindcore and many other. Subgenre D-Beat was even named by this band for their unique drum rhythm. This year at Explosive Stage, we will witness live performance of this legendary band, one of the best in live performances, after 35 years wait.
